Checklists - Entering Singapore by Car

As I shared in my earlier post, I had this inferior feelings when going abroad.. especially Singapore. Automatically had a mindset to adhere to every strict rules and regulations so that we're not caught being fine. and the worst thing we may not be able to go out of Singapore or refrain from entering Singapore in future... that's why the Malay Proverbs says "Hujan Emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri". Based on little experienced which we had in our previous trip, we make a point to venture Singapore just the two of us by car.

Here are the basic things which you need to bring if you are travelling by car..
Valid Passport
Immigration Card
Some Singapore Dollars

This cashcard is essential. You need this to pay toll, zone fee and parking.. If you don't have one, you can purchase at SGD10 (SGD6 for admin fee + SGD4 value). Can be reload at any 7 Eleven. Make sure you have sufficient balance before going out from Singapore or you'll be in trouble if not.

You also need this, to pay for exit toll from Causeway. No cash accepted.

and sufficient FUEL.

We totally forget about this. No turning back as we only realised that our fuel is below par after passing the Singapore Checkpoint.
No alternative except to get the fuel in Singapore. We may be the only Malaysian who did this... what are you thinking? we're stupid.. don't ever do because we already felt like one... owhh Malaysia is heaven...

  1. If not mistaken, Malaysian cars not allowed to fill in Singapore eventhough in desperate. My Neighbour is a Singaporean driving Malaysian Nissan Serena, Fuel attendant refused to fill on his van and no other choice, return to JB to fill up.
