Kidzania Jakarta

Hello Jakarta, hello Kidzania, Welcome on board kids... thank you Air Asia for flying us there....this post may be a bit delayed... but better late then never....now Mum's schedule is back on track...since we moved to Limau Manis Avenue, so called our "new home", I am 85% settled down.. my routine schedules are more stabilised ... I have all facilities in placed like my lappy , internet connection, work station  etc.. you named it...meaning I have no more excuse for not blogging.... bear in mind that apart from blogging, I am pretty tied up with my cooking experiments and "Dapur Magika Kak Lin" is operating at a very active mode....

Wondering why I still can't discipline myself to write a post....perhaps, I need a mood booster to enhance my creativity... hmmm  that should never be another excuse...by right travelling post should be mandatory.. yet i leave the bulk of interesting moment stale as what happen to my Shenzhen and Bali trip post...how could I do that...not going to let this continue.. let'e get back on track and here we are.... the Jakarta trip on the go.

Trip to Jakarta with kids was during March school holiday... we planned the Jakarta trip with the rest of Uncles Meet Again big family.... main agenda was just to bring the kids to Kidzania, Jakarta... I have to admit that I have not been to Kidzania @ the Curve... haha... we secured a very low air fare.. about RM90 per pax... that is truly affordable to bring kids oversea....

Kids are more prepared to travel oversea now and behaving well trough out the trip...very cooperative and  requires minimal  reminder and unnecessary attention....so far so good. On their own feet and mum just following behind snapping photos of them....

Here we are at Kidzania Jakarta.. once again kids went on board on Air Asia, the main sponsor of Kidzania...Located at Level 6 of Pacific Place , Sudirman Central Business District. Pacific Place is a high end shopping mall with Ritz Carlton hotel , Hard Rock Cafe and top retailers to keep you busy to shop around while your kids enjoying the exciting 5 hours in Kidzania.

What has Kidzania got to offer for the kids? here you are... we need two days to cover everything... kids were saying that Kidzania Jakarta is bigger and accomodate up to 2000 pax at one time....but the place is so big and you did not feel that big no of pax were actually in there....

picture above googled

Since I have 2 toddlers going in to Kidzania, then I am certainly required to accompany them.... Isha and Papil are working real hard to earn the Kidzos... quite funny, as the kids were referred to as "Ibuk" and "Bapak" by the attendants...

Isha as a Pertamina fuel attendant...

IndoMie line worker

Building cleaner

Painter

Fast food worker

and most favourable occupation was fire fighter... most kids looking forward to join this.. unfortunately, I don't have their picture in action...

Ah ha... most awaiting moment... withdrawing daily pay.... so cute

That's what Papil and Isha's have experienced..... where's Daini and the rest....

Daini and friends were exploring around Kidzania all by themselves.... and I was asking them, on what they did during the first day.. and their answer is nothing much.... hmmm me in rolling eyes.... they were complaining about the queue and not earning much....

So we make them went to Kidzania again the next day... and we provide them camera to capture the evidence on what they did.

and as a result...... let's see Daini and friend (Farah and Alya) in action. Hopefully they are not just taking picca in front of each location and that's it...

obviously they were having so much fun together.....

the rest of these post are all about 7 of us....

us at Grand Indonesia

with the rest of the group

sempat usha Tag Heuer jap

at Tanah Abang

and that's about it.. end of Jakarta trip....phewww

Bangkok and Pattaya Trip

Most awaiting trip for me but not so sure on how my travel companion felt about it... it's my first time to Bangkok and Pattaya... but not for enche hubby... so my expectation and him could be different. Anyway it was a great short break for us after going through the hardest moment in life. We lost someone whom we love so much on April 26.. my father in law. Semoga Allah menempatkan nya dikalangan para syhuhada' ...Ameen

We keep our travelling and exploring minimal, more relaxing, massaging and eating.. though we don't quite find a good muslim restaurant to eat around Bangkok... but we found one in Pattaya.. a good one.. in fact a really good one. Apart from that, we stuffed ourselves with cut fruits and juices.. very similar eating type while we're visiting Vietnam the last time.

What would be the best word to describe our trip this round... may be "REDAH je" fits well. Due to uncertainty, we didn't dare to plan and commit any booking earlier.. by the time we decided to go, it was a day before the travelling day.. can you imagine. Nothing much can be done, except to just book any hotel with descent description and that's it. We have not done a proper and thorough research about getting around, muslim food restaurant and things to do and must go places...

Is this an indication that there will be another Bangkok trip for us... most likely.. enche hubby has suggested that too.. so it's just a matter of when.

On day of arrival, we hop into Bangkok - Pattaya Bus. We took the earliest bus departed at 5.00am. The fare is 133BAHT per person. The journey took us about 2 hours and the distance if not mistaken is around 137km. Bus is available at every 30 minutes interval. From Don Mueng Airport, we took a taxi cost us about 150BAHT to Mo Chit bus terminal.

Straight away taking Pattaya taxi to Hard Rock Pattaya. This is how Pattaya taxi look like. You pay 20BAHT  per ride.. very convinient.

But for us.. renting a motorbike is still the best.... it costs us 500BAHT for 2 days... very cheap...

Enjoying moment of relaxing......

The room.... ah ha

and the pool.....

ready for sight seeing.... in santai attire.. ready to jump in the pool...

The Pattaya Walking Street.... not a must go place for me.....

Most relaxing time

Pattaya at night....

and the halal food we found in around Pattaya and Bangkok

and on top of everything... delicious halal food in Pattaya.... if for any reason I want to go to Pattaya again is because of this.... non other else...

Garlic squid

Chicken with cashew nuts

and Tom Yum seafood

and a bit of Bangkok..

we stayed in Courtyard by Marriott, and santai for the ramaining of the day....

relaxing again after a long walk and shopping at Chatuchak Market - the largest weekend market .... see what i found for my kitchen?
