More Books for Isha & Papil and something for Daini

The last time we bought books for Isha and Papil, both of them were very very excited flipping through the books and read with their own language... demonstrated deep interest on it and become very possessive towards their own belonging.... day and night looking at the same books makes them familiarise what's inside the book but at the same time get bored looking at the same thing... so I thought it's about time to buy more interactive reading materials and get them introduced to something more advance...

I prefer to find something more interactive reading material like flashcards, games, flip flap, peek-a-boo kind of book as compared to real book... at least it helps your kids to develop different skill at the same time.....

For Isha, I have chosen her Dora Interactive Flash cards... it could be too early to teach her opposites but at least Daini her elder sister who is now in standard one learn something from it when she thought Isha.... Isha loves everything with Dora charachter....

One thing special about this flash cards is the "Slides and Learn features"... it started with the pictures explaining the opposite then followed by the words.... very interesting....

I have difficulties in making up my mind to choose between these two flash cards.. so end up buying both and this one titled

 "The Smart move groove"

Features :

1. You can run your kids tiny little fingers along the grooves and trace the letters they make... means no pencil and paper required... all you need to do is get the tiny fingers to move along the arrow shown on the alphabets.. It has a track to trace on each alphabet... just the right size for the tiny fingers...

2.  It has a flip flap features.... that shows the pictures which starts from each alphabets....

I have extended the features to make it giant scrabble for my kiddos... you can use them to spell their names and other fun words that can make them giggle all day.....

somehow Papil still can't appreciate what I am trying to do for him.... looking so boring....

because he got something more interesting than that

papil loves car very much... so he can imagine himself driving a car while I read him the book..... while reading the books, you just need to follow the symbols shown in between the lines to add the sound effect... enche hubby said this book could be very helpful for storytelling.....

of course papil press the buttons all the time because he really enjoy listening to all sorts of sound..... surprisingly he is can now say few new words that I've never heard before.

We bought something for Daini too.... she did complaints that she don't own any toys... Fiqri has got PS and Darin is very busy facebooking with her lappy.... so she requested us  to buy her puzzle...

For a start to jigsaw puzzle... without a frame... we bought her 250pcs Toy Story 3 puzzle....

After doing it for more than 5 times already... she almost memorised where to put the pieces...she started nagging to buy her new puzzle... that's the problem with puzzle... you get addicted and at the same time have this "cannot describe" kind satisfaction if you can solve the puzzle.. I knew it coz I love puzzles too... In fact I do joined her doing the puzzle...... and another thing it's quite priceeee...

Now its Christmas time... not celebrating it but many books and toys offered at  a valuable price for gifts.... plus it has nice packaging, limited edition and etc.
