Macau In 4 hours

Masa untuk bercuti-cuti ke obersi kembali lagi.... trip kali ni memang kami tak plan... jangan salahkan kami, salahkan Air Asia sebab offer tambang murah ...destinasi kami kali ni adalah percutian bersama rakan-rakan ke Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau ..... dan tempoh percutian kami adalah cuma 4 hari.... it's a fairly short trip....

Though Macau is our last destination for this trip...but I can't help myself from posting this entry first leaving the rest to be next as I simply love Macau.... with us to Macau were Azie and Kic-up.....

I can't believe that we did this... we made a history of stepping our feet to 4 different territories in less than 24 hours..... to be exact in 18 hours... departed from Hong Kong to Macau via ferry , then took another ferry from Macau to Shenzhen to catch our flight back to Malaysia.... marked that in our passport which has been stamped by four different immigrations office on the same day....

Why were everything so rush for us? We couldn't manage to catch earlier ferry to Macau and beyond our expectation, it took us at least an hour before we got the immigration clearance in Macau... By the time we started looking for baggage lockers and thinking where to catch the public transport, we got another hit that no public taxi was available on that day because of the Macau Grand Prix..... I regretted for not doing enough research on Macau and luckily we've made the right decision in second ... by getting a tour operator to bring us around...

I just used my instinct started pointing out my finger on the map for places where we wanted to go, and he suggested few more places and that's it. The driver agreed to bring us around to those places in just 4 hours before he sent us back to jetty for ferry to Shenzhen......

Our first destination is to Macau Fisherman's Wharf.... I didn't know why we're here but simply snapping picca only.... please ignore the dates appeared on the piccas ... baru perasan tak update...... the weather is nice and breezy... hmmm terasa macam pergi Europe.....

Next stop is my favourite....Largo de Senado or Senado Square...the  I felt the ambience here is like a typical European country environment which reminds me those time when in Rome or France..... I like the pavement road with a fountain right in the middle with shops around..... look below... i's actually not an ordinary pavement....

Bila dah balik dari Macau , baru sibuk-sibuk nak baca history... and this is what has been described in Wikipedia.....

"The Senado Square, or Senate Square (Portuguese: Largo do Senado; Chinese: 議事亭前地), is a paved area in the centre of the former Portuguese colony of Macau, China, enclosed by the buildings of the Leal Senado, the General Post Office, and St. Dominic’s Church. The square is paved in the traditional Portuguese pavement. The main road of Macau's historic centre, Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro passes through the square. The square is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Centre of Macau".

Look at the Portuguese pavement... special kan....

Being here is really a moment of togetherness..... enche hubby whispered to me that we should come back here and spent a more relax time walking through this unique town.... apa yang kami alami dan lihat memang tak terjangka dik fikiran...  tak seperti apa yang di bayangkan... maklumlah, biasanya Macau sangat sinonim dengan aktiviti Casino and gambling which are totally against our doing as Muslim... but it actually has more than that.....

I found Macau to be very peaceful and unique in its own way in terms of languages and culture..... The Portugese terminology are widely used here...Banyak tempat yang kami hanya sempat lalu dan jeling atas sebab masa yang begitu terhad untuk kami.... Mujurlah tempat-tempat yang kami pilih sangat-sangat best dan kami rasa 4 jam yang kami ada berlalu dengan sangat pantas..... kalau diberi peluang, tentu kami nak habiskan lebih banyak masa kat sini....

Memang rambang mata nak buat photo selection.... kalau boleh semua gambar ai nak post..... but cannot lorrrr.....

Our next stop is the Icon of Macau.... it is called "Ruins of St. Paul" ...to us it's just a wall or historical place and no more than that.... admiring the architectural side of it....

Hop in back to our van heading towards the Venetian... it's a shopping mall with a canal and man made blue cloudy sky which gives you totally a different experience.... dapat tahu tempat ni pun masa tengok Sazzy Falak and Nazril dalam rancangan Romantic Gateway Air Asia .... hmm suasana dalam ni memang terasa macam kat Venice...

Walaupun masa yang kami ada cuma lebih kurang 45 minit untuk spend masa kat sini... tapi kami sempatkan jugak untuk go for the "The Gondola Ride Experience".... .... bile lagi nak merasa.... nak sampai ke Venice kat Italy jauh sangat.

Our final stop and tempat wajib yang mesti kami singgah ialah Hard Rock Hotel, Macau..... jom shopping baju buat kenang-kenangan dari Macau....

That's the end of our short 4 hours trip in Macau... kami tinggalkan bandar Macau dengan seribu satu kenangan dan berazam untuk kembali sekali lagi Insya Allah.... apapun Azie & Kic-up , you all memang cool... bestkan jalan-jalan kat Macau...

Memang tak puas jalan kat sini, kalau ada peluang ke sini lagi, ai nak buat research betul-betul siap dengan history of Macau...
