Melbourne Trip - Great Ocean Road

I've been wanting to drive through this road since I booked my flight ticket to Melbourne... witnessing those photos updated in google by myself... it's too scenic to be described. Many has warned that you should plan your journey well as you may be distracted and delayed with the views... I guess that is what happened to us... I got carried away with the views.... we shouted to stop...we've been countless in and out of our van as and when we wish to...  there were so many things to see along the route.... but we have to keep going as day time is much shorter during winter.... we have always reminded ourselves that we should aimed to reach our last destination before dusk....

We're lucky to have four capable drivers taking turns to drive us in the 8-seater minivan... on a winding road along the coast.... by GPS... though road signage are clear to guide you along your journey....

First stop : Fisherman Beach......

I am a beach person.... I never get bored looking at the open sea... the infinity views... clear blue water... shores,  waves, cliffs .... that is just so soothing that gives true relaxation and peace to me.....

We found the first small town (Torquay) and get off for breakfast.... Torquay is one of the "otways town" and official start of great ocean road... we entered into a small cafe operated by the locals and get hooked with their freshly baked muffins and pies that comes with a free smells of coffee...

Us squeezing in a table.... we had so much fun along the journey... pity azie and kicup for having fever...nevertheless still can afford to give a smile for a shot....

A cup of white coffee for me....

Morning giggles .....

We found this shop MOTOGOD selling riding gears.... sempat shopping and posing kat sini...

Pantang nampak kedai... confirm singgah membeli....

Next stop : Bells Beach

Ni ape keje ni?

Next stop : Anglesea Main Beach, famous beach for surfing

Breathtaking view....

Scenic view along the journey....

Next stop : Airey's Inlet

It was beautiful right..... look at the clouds...

Eagle Rock Marine Sacntuary

and next stop : Lighthouse

We walked down the last ... feeling so peaceful and relaxed.

We stopped at this nice cafe.... drop a tips and that lady kindly allow us to pose in her restaurant called 60's Diner....

With the cafe owner...

Guys pose....

Cutest shot...... ade ke service cam ni kat Malaysia?..

It almost 1.00pm... time to feed our empty stomach.... we had prepared some food to be cooked along the way... found this picnic spot and no one else around... we start our main masak-masak session.... cooked sardine, egg, fried rice, maggie mee... we brought the rice , nasi impit, bread and serunding from the hotel.... serunding Sahela memang terbaik..... hmmm teringat-ingat serunding tu.... betul-betul membangkitkan selera.... cuaca pulak sejuk... cepat lapar ... ape pun jadi sedap... makan pulak rebut-rebut... best sangat moment tu....

Sedap sangat tu en kic up....

Next stop is Lorne... second otways town....

The parrots...

After, there were no stopping until we reach Princetown for toilet break..... this is the last otways town before 12 Apostles... we're rushing for time to see the 12 Apostles

We're almost there but we saw a signage for 12 Apostles Helicopter Scenic Flight.... it's not planned, and we're so lucky to be on the last flight. It's once in a lifetime experience.... we're ready to be on board...

and finally.... save the best for last... our last stop on Great Ocean Road... "Loch Ard Gorge" and the "12 Apostles"

My favourite spots on GOR

We drove back to Melbourne City..... and had our dinner at Camperdown.

Fish and chips for eight of us... sharing is caring...

That's the end of our journey of Great Ocean Road.... memories kept folded in my deepest heart.... sincerely, I am truly happy for that moment... moment of togetherness..... enjoying every scenes throughout the journey.... will this ever be repeated.... I have plans for Melbourne.... but not sure to be in Great Ocean Road again..... at least, for once, I've been there.... Alhamdulillah....
