Remember this most famous alphabet rhymes we use to sing when we were toddler??? hmm.. I suddenly I realise that I have not introduce those rhymes to my kiddo yet... Then, kind of panic... Panic out of nothing... but to comfort my self... I bought them few books ...
t's a way from plan.... I suddenly realise that these two kiddo should be introduced to
 Dots and Stripes...
can't help it... I wish I were kids.... these books are really cute....
This is it....
Titled : Whose Stripes? and Whose Spots?
Dear kids... lets look what have we got here... today, mama is going to teach you about
Spots (Dots)....
It's a peek a boo flip flap type of book.. made of hard paper ... very colourful and full of cute pictures ... of course the animation will be done by myself...
and next mama is going to teach you about Stripes..... Who's stripes is this.... This little book with Giant flaps has all the answers...
Hmmm .... that is mama's choice.... the Stripes and Dots...
Isha has got  her own choice... she wants this Jigsaw Puzzle which have Insects Pictorial..... Actually I'm buying this for Baby Qiestina's birthday... but I changed my mind and bought her Little Einstein's book instead.. I thought that book suits her age.
She got hooked up with the puzzle... and one thing special about Isha is that she kept all her puzzle in order right after she used them...

and for my little boy Papel.. he insisted to have this book full of transports.. he is so passionate of cars... he got very very excited to flip the book... so I indulge him with loads of transport picture book named
My First Things That Go
But kids are still kids... they easily get bored after few minutes....
Time to rest mama....
haaaah (yawning) ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!

Wedding of Aiqa and Harith

This is wedding of my senior's daughter in UeL (Abang Halim). When we first step our feet in Heathrow Airport, he's the one who arranged for transportation and accomodation for us.. Kira macam Tok Sidang for Malaysian student la... Back in 1995 (15 years ago), Aiqa is just a cute chubby girl...the only daughter of Abang Halim and Kak Oya...at that time she's only 8 years old.. Now she has grown up ... She is now a musician, composer etc..We heard few songs written by Aiqa herself during the wedding.. so brilliant.. well done girl.. keep it up
Look at that... Aiqa is requested to write lyrics on her big day....Congratulations to both of you... Ramai gak jumpa geng-geng kat UeL masa wedding tu....
Thanks for the lovely gift...

Daini's new teeth

After a long wait.. at last Daini's front tooth dropped... Another one dropping soon.... Since Daini is December born girl then she experienced this no front teeth moment in stardard one.... Daini smile when  she speak.. I don't know how she did that but everytime she speak she'll do it while smiling.... So she's a bit shy with her teeth condition right now.. but be patient girl. It won't take long... Mama can see those cute teeth coming out from the gum already...

Wedding of Hj Bad and Atiqah

I just feel to write something ... Though I have a very tight dateline to be met... Still have piled of outstanding jobs to be completed... but I need a break... so I thought I'll write about  wedding of our big bro Hj Bad (Uncle Dalyb) and Atiqah. Since I cannot upload the photos from office, then I'll finish off with the story and add the photo (Ehsan from enche Izwan) tonight.

The wedding took place in Port Dickson at Atiqah's parent's house and it started after Maghrib. Alhamdulillah all Uncle Meet Again members were there to witness the solemnization of Hj Bad and Atiqah and everything went smooth. It's a simple yet very memorable ceremony especially for the bride and groom..
For us as a guest , I  still can't forget the food they serve for the night. Variety and very special indeed. Originated from Negeri Sembilan.. and I just love the kampung style dishes ... Less is more...
Special dishes for the night:
1. Udang and ulam masak tempoyak
2. Kambing masak rempah
3. Rusa masak gulai
4. Ayam goreng berempah
5. Acar Ikan Masin
6. Dalca
7. Nasi Putih/Nasi Minyak
8. Assorted Traditional Kueh
9. Ulam-Ulaman
10. Fruits
11. Cold and Hot Drinks
Ni pengantin lama yang ala-ala maintain ayu gitu

To both of you, I wish you all the best and may Allah bless your marriage forever. Hmm semoga cepat di kurniakan cahaya mata since both have lots to catch up..he he

Small Town Journey - Benta , Pahang

Welcome to Benta. This is going to be series of my journey to small town. Benta is located in Pahang within the district of Lipis. Benta is in between two famous town i.e Raub and Kuala Lipis. It is about 20 km from Kuala Lipis town and Raub. A friend of mine said that Benta is very famous of it's locally made kuih koci and dodol. Some people dare to drive all the way from KL just to get the special kuih koci. Unfortunately info came after we left this peaceful Benta town.
Actually we were from Sg Koyan headed to Kuala Lipis just for Sunday morning market. When we reached Kuala Lipis we were quite dissapointed because the Pekan sehari Lipis has been rescheduled to Saturday.. luckily we asked this helpful auntie and told us to drive to Benta, Jerantut or Raub. Since Benta is just on the way to Raub.. I am quite happy that at least I still got a chance to go to the Sunday morning open market.

The locals here still have the time to patiently wait for the bus..
Moment I saw the market area... I got very excited and can't wait to buy those stuffs which you rarely found in KL. It's so fresh and cheap. I love masakan ala kampung... so this is the place...
See what I can buy with RM20.00.
1. Rebung (Bamboo Shoot) - RM1.00 sepinggan
2. Pucuk Paku - RM1.00 seikat
3. Serai RM 1.00 seikat (12pcs)
4. Gula kabung - RM5 each. This is the most expensive thing here.. but taste so good when used to make the traditional kuih.
Must buy!!!!
6. Cili padi kampung RM2.00 per can - bought 2 for RM4.00
and
7. Terung telunjuk - RM1.00 sepinggan.
Bought 2 for RM1.50
and
8. Petai - RM2.00 seikat (5-6 papan)
hmmm
TOTALof RM15.50

Other things which are available but I didn't buy
Jantung pisang, variety of pisang, terung pipit, jagung muda, pucuk ubi, terung bulat, pucuk betik, sambal hitam, belimbing buluh, petai jeruk, jeruk maman, pure tempoyak, sambal rom, asam keping, batang keladi, budu, belacan etc.

Enche hubby got hooked up at Pasar Akuakultur, Benta where there sell live fresh water fish.
Of course Pahang is famous for their Ikan Patin and Ikan Baung. They sell ikan pekasam too.

And the balance of RM4.50 was enough for me and enche hubby to have a morning coffee and tea at nearby stall. hmmm rasa terkilan gak tak dapat rasa kuih koci yang diperkatakan tu.
Adios Benta...

Wedding of the unknown

Last Sunday, me and enche hubby accompanied my PIL to this wedding of far far away relatives... Since the pelamin was set outside the house, then both of us don't want to miss to have a click of photo here. Even though I didn't know the name of the bride and groom , I'd like to wish warmest congratulations to both of you. The theme of the wedding is silver and black.. What a coincidence that both of us were wearing black....
A lovely gift from the host...
